Health can incorporate dimensions of physical, mental, and social wellbeing. It is important for us to have good health as it influences our daily lives as well as our overall life expectancies. While Australia is considered to be one of the world’s healthiest societies, the health status of males appears to generally be poorer than that of females.
Men’s Health Inc. was established to promote and raise awareness on health topics and issues of relevance to men and boys in an effort to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for men and boys in Australia. We aim to become Australia’s primary platform and source of information about the social, physical, and psychological wellbeing of men and boys.
What We Do
Promote and raise awareness on health topics and issues of relevance to men and boys
Build a Community
One of our goals is to enable men to support other men in their workplace, organisation, or community, and normalise strong relationships among men.
Provide news, commentary, articles, links, and information about events, services, and resources specific to health topics and issues of relevance to men and boys.
Fund and undertake research into the physical and mental health, wellbeing, and lifestyle behaviours of Australian men and boys, to train men with knowledge and skills to support other men who are experiencing challenges with personal, relationship, or mental health issues.
